INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING PEDPOINT LITE 3.0

These instructions are for the BETA version and only apply to
web sites which have the previous version already installed.

This beta when installed, resides in a folder called Lite on your web site.
It in now way affects your existing installation which will continue
to work normally after installtion.

After running the installer this file and the other PedPoint files will be
located in:
C:\Program Files\PedPointLite3.0
or in 
C:\Program Files (x86)\PedPointLite3.0
if you are running 64 bit Windows.

Step 1.
Using whatever FTP or file transfer program you normally use,
create a sub-folder called Lite in your root folder then copy
the contents of the Lite sub-folder to that sub-folder on your web site.
The pp_style.css should go in the root folder (not in the Lite folder).

Step 2.
The pp_search.htm file should be modified to reference your database.
It is preset to the "pedigree" database, but refers to it as "Shetland Sheepdogs"
so you should at least modify the breed and possibly modify the database name.
The relevant line in the file is:
 <option selected value="pedigree">Shetland Sheepdogs</option>

As mentioned your existing site will still function normally. To access the new
Lite features you would start a web browser and use the URL
<Your web site addres>/Lite/pp_search.htm

You will know it is using lite because after clicking on the Search button the
URL will include "php" in the path, e.g. pp_search.php.

Step 3.
Modify the pp_config.php file. In particular the following parameters must be
changed:
$DatabaseName
$DatabaseAccount
$DatabasePassword
$DatabaseHost
